Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Lead in Fort Wayne, IN to supervise store teams and uphold brand standards. You will guide customer-focused experiences, coach staff, and support leadership in daily operations to ensure a welcoming environment and strong sales performance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, high ownership, and flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on delivering personalized hospitality. This position reports to store leadership and supports store goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, share product knowledge, and utilize an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team and contribute to a positive work environment.

About The Role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.
