Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide process support, expertise, and guidance for new and existing installations.
  • Study customer needs, pain points, and business challenges; create customized sales proposals and follow up from order to delivery.
  • Review specifications and determine scope of supply for requests for proposals.
  • Support after-sales service and technical support for GEA team members.
  • Support marketing strategies, attend trade shows, and deliver technical or sales presentations.
  • Prepare technical proposals and presentations for review before submission to customers.
  • Provide monthly sales project status reports to management.
  • Develop business and marketing plans, and make budget recommendations.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of GEA equipment and customer processes.
  • Liaise with engineering and service teams to address technical concerns.
  • Support development of technical documentation and customer training.
  • Provide post-sales technical troubleshooting and customer support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
Your profile and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related technical sales experience.
  • 5-7 years' experience as a sales engineer, in capital equipment sales, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong technical background and excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in building customer and representative relationships.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (2-3 hotel stays per week).
  • Knowledge of CRM and sales management tools.
  • Experience in capital equipment sales is required.
