Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a contract/inventory analyst in Simi Valley, CA, to manage contract forecasting, shipments, and inventory levels. You will collaborate with Purchasing and regional Account Managers to align forecasted demand with available stock and pricing strategies.

The role emphasizes data analysis, cost reduction, and monthly performance reporting, with a hybrid work setup at our Simi Valley location. A 4-year related experience and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains Customer Contracts.
• Maintains contract releases.
• Identify forecasts for contracts with customers.
• Schedule shipments with Purchasing Department.
• Coordinate contract activities with regional Account Managers.
• Analyze data for excess/obsolete products and present to customers.
• Identify and implement cost reduction activities.
• Ensure appropriate stock levels for contracts.
• Provide monthly business review reports with management.
• Research root causes of excess/obsolete items.
• Market projections of excess/obsolete inventory for parts.
• Assemble internal worksheets for customer contract proposals.
• Develop processes to manage inventory with demand to improve delivery performance and inventory turns.
• Provide monthly summaries of excess inventory sales metrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Customer Contracts.
• Maintains contract releases.
• Must work with the customers to identify forecasts for contracts.
• Responsible for scheduling shipments with Purchasing Department.
• Works with regional Account Managers to coordinate contract activities.
• Analyzes data for excess and obsolete products and offers it to customers.
• Identifies and implements cost reduction activities.
• Ensures there are appropriate stock levels for contracts.
• Works with management to provide monthly business review reports.
• Research and assemble the root causes of excess and obsolete items.
• Market projected of excess and obsolete inventory list of parts.
• Assembles excess inventory pricing analysis based on historical sales, quote data and available market pricing.
• Assemble internal worksheets for customer contract proposals.
• Develop processes to manage inventory, along with customer contract demand to maintain and improve delivery performance and inventory turns.
• Provide monthly summary reports of excess inventory sales metrics.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 Years experience in related field.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employmenteligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
