Holmes Murphy in St. Louis Park, MN is offering a 10-week Summer Sales Internship designed to give you hands-on insurance industry experience.

The internship rotates through Brokerage Services teams, focusing on growth and client acquisition, while you explore career paths across lines of business. You’ll attend workshops, present learnings, network with industry leaders, and engage in community activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Examples of prior majors’ interns have pursued: Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance, and more.
• Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Assisting in building relationships with prospective clients
• Collaborating across departments to deliver value-driven proposals
• Supporting full-time sales team members in contributing to company profitability
• Attending sales meetings
• Attending community activities & association meetings to promote Holmes Murphy
• Preparing and delivering proactive sales presentations to leaders and mentors
• Additional duties as assigned
