Job summary

Holmes Murphy is offering a Summer 2027 Sales Internship in St. Louis Park, MN (onsite) for a 10-week program designed to expose you to the insurance industry.

Interns rotate through Brokerage Services, supporting growth and client acquisition while learning from industry leaders. You will identify opportunities, help build client relationships, collaborate across teams, and deliver value-driven proposals, all while gaining hands-on experience and networking with mentors and leaders in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or pursuing enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Majors interns have pursued: Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance.
• Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in customer service or administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Assisting in building relationships with prospective clients
• Collaborating across departments to deliver value-driven proposals
• Supporting full-time sales team members in contributing to company profitability
• Attending sales meetings
• Attending community activities & association meetings to promote Holmes Murphy
• Preparing and delivering proactive sales presentations to leaders and mentors
• Additional duties as assigned

What is our Sales Internship?

Our Sales Interns rotate through our Brokerage Services teams throughout the summer to broaden their perspective of Holmes Murphy and the insurance industry (where available based on geography). Our Sales team focuses on growth and client acquisition.
