Job summary

Werner Electric Supply in Madison, AL is offering an internship to gain hands-on experience across sales operations, customer engagement, and product knowledge. You will support account managers, participate in sales activities, and shadow across departments to help define your career path within a growing electrical distributor.

The program includes executive mentorship, Lean Six Sigma training, and networking events, with compensation up to $19 per hour depending on year in college.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a degree in sales, Marketing/Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Joint sales calls with Account Managers
• Follow up sales support
• Counter day events
• Sales order entry & backorder follow up
• Provide bid & quote assistance
• Coordinate vendor purchases on direct & non-stock items
• CRM support
• Attend product trainings
• Cycle counting at Appleton counter
• Other related duties as assigned.

Timeline and Expectations

Werner will be posting the internship positions starting in late September which will run through the end of November. We will be selecting candidates to move forward with from HR phone screen to virtual hiring manager interview during this time.
