Arthrex Richmond is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Summer Sales Internship Program for 2027. You will work directly with our team to learn about sales and operations in a medical device company, with hands-on exposure to surgical cases, product and sales training, and inventory logistics.

The internship runs 8-10 weeks, based in Richmond, VA, with regional travel possible and no housing sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited college.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Biology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• GPA 3.0 minimum.
• Comfort in surgery/operating room environment and ability to attend cases.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean record and access to a vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn about sales and operations in a medical device company.
• Attend surgical cases in the OR with sales reps and participate in product and sales trainings.
• Spend time with the operations team to understand inventory logistics and management.
• Engage with leadership and mentors for guidance and development.

Arthrex Richmond is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our fast-paced, dedicated team through our Sales Internship Program for the Summer of 2027. At Arthrex Richmond, our focus is on people and the impact they can make to fulfill the Arthrex mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.

The Sales Intern will work directly with our team to learn about sales and operations in a medical device company. There will be hands-on experience that includes attending surgical cases in the operating room with sales reps, attending product and sales training opportunities, spending time with the operations team to gain an understanding of inventory logistics and management, leadership team interactions and more. The program will include the opportunity to cultivate selling skills with the support and mentoring of experienced sales representatives and managers.

Internship Logistics:

• Paid Internship
• Full time / 8-10 weeks
• Position will be based in Richmond, VA with the potential for some regional travel outside of Richmond
• No company sponsored housing or relocation
• Company will pay facility credentialing fees for intern
• Program will provide networking opportunities, access to leadership, structured performance, and coaching
• Potential opportunity for a full-time job offer upon completion of the internship program

Requirements

1. A current student or recent graduate pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited college
2. Pursuing a degree in: Business, Sales, Biology, Kinesiology, or a related field
3. Knowledge and background of human anatomy (preferred)
4. 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA
5. Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environment and be able to attend cases
6. Possess valid US driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record and access to a vehicle
7. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Ability to lift to 35 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds on an occasional basis
9. Eligible to work full-time within the United States without sponsorship
10. Background check and drug-screen required prior to employment
