Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Summer 2027 Client Associate Intern to support the Sales team in New York City. You will gain exposure to media advertising and learn our multi-platform sales process.

The internship runs June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027 and is in-office full-time. You will research, analyze data, prepare proposals, and deliver excellent client support while paired with mentors and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Two years completed toward a Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong interest in Finance or Data Science.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets, Slides and other presentation platforms.
• Organizational skills and focus on priorities that move the sales process forward.
• Creative thinking and the ability to match marketer's goals with the unique audiences available through our media properties.

Responsibilities

• Support our strategic Next Market Cycle (NMC) initiatives via research (client earnings reports, MediaRadar, proprietary studies).
• Perform reporting/analysis to increase revenue.
• Support the sales activities of designated Client Partners.
• Work with the sales team to develop solutions and partnership concepts and pricing.
• Prepare and send proposals for presentations to clients.
• Deliver excellent client support.
• Provide timely communication and follow‑up with clients and internal departments.
• Help with research for meetings and special projects.
• Ensure that the sales team has the required sales materials and support information for sales calls and RFP responses.
• Receive exposure to the entire pre & post sales cycle across all platforms and products and how they are used to meet the needs of our clients.
