Nucor Steel West Virginia is offering a Summer 2027 Sales Intern program designed for students pursuing a four-year degree in Accounting or Finance. Interns will gain hands-on experience in sales processes, customer relationships, market activities, and operations while shadowing seasoned team members and contributing across the organization.

Ideal candidates demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication, reliability, and ownership.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards a four-year bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with an expected graduation date no later than May 2028
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation for the duration of the internship

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing divisional assignments that provide hands-on exposure to sales processes, customer relationships, market activities, and business operations
• Collaborate on projects designed to drive value across the organization and shadow experienced team members to learn how the Sales team supports customers and growth
• Support the Sales team and contribute across the organization by applying an entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
• Engage in safety practices and housekeeping standards as part of daily work routines

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel West Virginia is seeking a Sales Intern for summer 2027 with a desire to learn, grow, and become a valued contributor to the Sales team. This internship offers immersive sales experience in the manufacturing sector, specifically the steel industry.

Interns will take part in ongoing divisional assignments that provide hands-on exposure to sales processes, customer relationships, market activities, and business operations. They will also collaborate on projects designed to help drive value across the organization. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to shadow experienced team members, gaining insight into how the Sales team supports Nucor’s customers, business objectives, and continued growth.

The Nucor Sales internship program provides interns with a learning experience that supports their career goals while offering meaningful exposure to the steel industry. Nucor seeks students who have an entrepreneurial mindset, a high level of ownership, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a desire to lead and contribute across the organization.
