Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area.
• Two years' experience in an analytical, research or MIS role in service, health or sales.
• Knowledge of competitors, health care pricing, product development, market research methods and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge and use of existing software packages.
• Strong problem solving, presentation, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned.
• Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the sales and financial markets.
• Conduct membership trend analysis and competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
• Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.
• Qualify new and existing business prospects for BCBSM health care coverage.
• Other duties may be assigned.
