Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned.
• Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the sales and financial markets.
• Conduct membership trend analysis and competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
• Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.
• Qualify new and existing business prospects for BCBSM health care coverage.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in shaping decisions that impact our members, customers, and communities. This position is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area preferred.
• Two (2) years' experience in an analytical, research or management information position in service, health or sales related industry required. Project planning and familiarity with the client server environment preferred.
• Knowledge of competitors, health care pricing and product development, market research methods and techniques, statistical analysis and market planning.
• Knowledge and use of existing software packages.
• Strong problem solving, presentation, analytical and communication skills.
• Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
