Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to collaborate with our sales team, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales through our process.

You will identify opportunities, prioritize high-value prospects, and develop strategies to improve profitability while delivering exceptional service. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of sales experience, comfortable on the phone, and honest in communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, sales, communication or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of sales experience with comfort on the telephone and honest communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and present new sales opportunities to customers.
• Prioritize high-value prospects to maximize profitability.
• Strengthen client relationships by enhancing the sales portfolio.
• Improve profitability, product penetration, and customer product mix.
• Qualify leads through market research and collaboration with outside sales teams.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and tailored sales solutions.
• Communicate value propositions and refine sales approaches as needed.
• Secure purchase orders and manage order fulfillment.

What We’re Looking For:

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the position requirements and market data. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations.
