Google and GCP Strategic Alliance Manager at JetBrains

We are currently seeking an experienced Alliance Manager to lead, nurture, and grow our strategic partnership with Google and GCP. In this role, you will develop strategies to align JetBrains with GCP and Google products and teams, drive engagement, and promote JetBrains solutions to key stakeholders and customers. You will lead co-selling initiatives, product alignment efforts, and partnership programs, while strategically leveraging Google Cloud Marketplace to expand business opportunities with GCP and Google customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to align JetBrains with Google and GCP products and teams, go-to-market programs, and marketing initiatives. A key focus will be on strengthening JetBrains' presence on Google Cloud Marketplace as a strategic channel for sales growth.
  2. Collaborate with product marketing to create solution briefs, sales briefs, and case studies that articulate the “better together” story of JetBrains and GCP, describing the joint value proposition relevant to GCP stakeholders and customers.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for the partnership, supporting co-selling activities (e.g., engaging GCP sales/account managers and technical advisors), ensuring timely follow-up on sales leads, conducting account mapping to identify opportunities, and uncovering technical and product synergies. You will also serve as the primary liaison for Google, driving joint solution development, go-to-market initiatives, and co-marketing efforts.
  4. Drive strategic and executive engagements between JetBrains and Google/GCP leadership to strengthen business and technical collaboration.
  5. Engage with GCP technical advisors (e.g., solution architects, solution engineers, and developer advocates) to help them align with JetBrains' technical teams, ensuring a deep understanding of JetBrains products and the joint value proposition for GCP and its customers.
  6. Manage JetBrains' presence on Google Cloud Marketplace, drive co-selling initiatives, and align JetBrains sellers with GCP sellers, key stakeholders, and customers to maximize joint opportunities. Identify, enroll in, and maximize JetBrains’ participation in Google Cloud Partner Advantage programs—including the Specialization and Expertise designations and ISV initiatives—while leveraging co-marketing and go-to-market programs to foster joint success.
  7. Facilitate the ideation and development of joint solutions with Google and GCP, crafting proposals that demonstrate strategic value and business impact.
  8. Build relationships with GCP and Google stakeholders by maintaining communication and attending events to strengthen collaboration.
  9. Oversee JetBrains' presence at Google Cloud events, such as Google Next, by organizing executive meetings, co-sponsoring activities, and presenting JetBrains' value proposition to prospective customers and partners.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience managing partnerships within the Google and GCP ecosystem, ideally as a Strategic Alliance Manager or Partnership Manager at an ISV, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of GCP’s organization and go-to-market programs, with experience working with GCP sellers, product leaders, and executives.
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build and nurture relationships.
  • Technical aptitude: familiarity with developer tools is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
  • Comfort working across time zones and cultures, with adaptability to working hours in European and US time zones.
  • An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
  • Product or project management experience is a plus.
