One of our client is seeking an exceptional Western BU General Manager (Grocery Channel) to lead the Grocery sales division, overseeing key accounts, modern trade, traditional trade channels and category management. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in FMCG sales, P&L management, and team development to accelerate revenue growth and market share in highly competitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, market expansion, and profitability in the grocery channel (hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores, etc.).
  • Identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for portfolio optimization
  • Lead negotiations with major grocery retailers, distributors, and buying groups to secure advantageous partnerships.
  • Drive trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and in-store execution excellence.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize ROI.
  • Implement data-driven sales processes, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Team Development:

  • Build and mentor high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability and results.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align sales strategies with company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years in FMCG sales leadership, with at least 5 years focused on grocery/retail channels.
  • Proven success in managing P&L, key accounts (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, regional chains and etc.), and distributor networks.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in trade terms, shopper insights, and revenue growth management (RGM).
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent english communication, Mandarin skills is a plus.
