General Description

As the Sales Floor Supervisor, you are accountable for driving customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing company merchandise standards, and execution. You will train and develop associates to execute sales building programs.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Directs customer service and sales activities; resolves customer issues; models and holds team accountable for outstanding service; maximizes sales through appropriate staffing.
  2. Store Merchandise Standards: Manages merchandise standards via Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual processes; maintains high presentation standards; oversees pricing and signage; promotes merchandise strategy; manages recovery standards.
  3. Omnichannel: Trains and coaches associates on jcp.com processes; manages Ship from Store, BOPIS, and Curbside Pickup; monitors metrics and resolves issues.
  4. Specialty Businesses: Drives growth in Jewelry, Mattress, and Window departments; oversees training, remerchandising, and shrink reduction activities.
  5. Team Development: Coaches and trains associates; partners in hiring; addresses performance issues.
  6. Performance Standards: Meets standards in shrink, safety, omnichannel, scheduling, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
