What You Will Do
  • Provide resources and tools to support staff in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist with stocking, area recovery, and contribute to merchandising decisions.
  • Monitor use of store power equipment and coach employees on safety and lifting techniques.
Additional Responsibilities

The Sales Floor Department Supervisor leads and enables a team to deliver the best customer experience, coaching and training staff, managing performance, and ensuring coverage. Responsibilities include customer-facing activities, inventory management, safety protocols, and supervising cross-departmental staff as needed. They also communicate best practices to motivate the team and may occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or supporting nearby stores.

What We're Looking For
  • Full-time, approximately 39-40 hours weekly, with flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds or more.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of retail experience.
  • At least 1 year in customer service and supporting Pro customers.
  • Experience in team supervision, training, and cross-functional work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to obtain relevant sales licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional years of retail and Pro customer support experience, leadership roles, and familiarity with retail systems.
