Job description

As the Sales Floor Assistant, you are responsible for driving customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing merchandise standards and execution, training and developing staff, and executing sales-building programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service & Sales: Model and uphold outstanding customer service standards. Actively listen to customer issues to resolve problems. Demonstrate WORTH behaviors consistently. Collaborate with team members for additional support.
  2. Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory: Coordinate with the Merchandise Supervisor on merchandise placement. Assist with inventory processes such as cycle counts, system uploads, and RFID scans. Support restocking processes including mismates and stockroom organization.
  3. SET / Visual / Environment: Assist with floor moves, graphics placement, and visual detailing. Identify sell-through opportunities and remerchandise accordingly. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including fitting rooms and stockrooms.
  4. Omnichannel (SVG 2-3): Support online order processes, including pick-up and ship-from-store services.
  5. General Operations: Contribute to merchandise transfers, returns, and inventory integrity. Participate in annual inventory counts.
  6. Performance Standards: Support shrink and safety initiatives. Meet performance metrics related to sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
