Compensation : $60,000 salary + bonus opportunity (median OTE $135K)

The job :

At Buildertrend, Sales Executives don’t just close big deals—they help reshape how the residential construction industry operates. You'll lead high-stakes conversations with business owners/builders, guiding them through personalized demonstrations that unlock real change for their businesses. The Buildertrend product is geared for contractors who generate over $1M in annual construction volume. We focus on delivering a world-class product to companies of high quality & commitment. The sales team offers only annual contracts, and each SE is responsible for roughly $150k in revenue per month. Backed by a collaborative sales team and leaders who trust your strategy, you'll turn complex challenges into smart solutions. Your impact will be seen in stronger builder outcomes, smarter sales processes, and a growing Buildertrend footprint across the country.

What you will do :

  • Work directly with Regional Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Business Development to formulate, affect, interpret, and implement operating and sales policies.
  • Manage your own group of prospects to analyze a proper strategy to reach sales, making necessary decisions that will develop Buildertrend’s client base.
  • Conduct demonstrations with prospects and use personalized communication techniques to close sales opportunities.
  • Plan long-term and short-term objectives to meet and exceed metrics on calls, meetings, and sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize opportunities and drive sales.
  • Work closely with the Sales Management team to develop targeted lists, strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business.

Who you are and what you need :

  • 2+ years of sales or lead generation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with the Sandler Sales Methodology or equivalent methodology preferred.
  • Proven skill in interpersonal relationship building.
  • Established skill in written and oral communication.
  • Creativity to craft innovative sales strategies to address the needs of individual leads.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and implement processes and systems.
