Primary Duties (as outlined below, but not limited to)

  1. Meeting revenue goals and profitability targets established by sales leadership.
  2. Networking and prospecting within the assigned territory to develop a robust understanding of the Volleyball landscape (club, institutional & rec), get to know all teams and have them know Capelli Sport.
  3. Maintaining or acquiring specific data on clubs and/or teams in focused territory to implement into customer retention software (Excel and/or Salesforce).
  4. Sales is a team sport; collaborate with sales managers and executives sharing network and contacts outside of assigned territory.
  5. Keeping updated with market shifts while being fully aware of new internal product selection as well as competitive landscape.
  6. Participating in events, organized tournaments, industry conferences, and other Volleyball events that shall involve new business development opportunities, current and non-current partners.
  7. Directly engage in sales operations and tasks that may impact current or prospective customers, such as profitability analysis, presentation proposal, contract creation, and post-sale relationship management.
  8. Ability to adapt and interested to learn new sport categories thus increasing value and versatility to organization.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred;
  2. 5+ years of outside sales experience in Volleyball industry preferred;
  3. Proficient in MOS (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  4. Excellent financial literacy skills required;
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills;
  6. Work-flow management skills. Clear understanding of responsibilities, reporting, data-driven culture and prioritization skills.

Additional:

  1. Strong knowledge of the soccer landscape in North America.
  2. Ready to work non-traditional hours, with the inclusion of weekends, to meet expected sales targets and client demands.
