Overview

Work Location: Pennsylvania Work From Home, New Jersey - Work From Home, Trenton. The Sales Executive will be working remotely but subject to change according to our company policy. The ideal candidate will cover Central/Southern New Jersey and Northern/Eastern PA, which includes the cities of Allentown, Lehigh Valley, Scranton, Cherry Hill and Trenton, as part of their territory.

Position Purpose: Secures new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance service solutions. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability in the assigned geographic area by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance Services (OSHA/HIPAA) while meeting or exceeding established annual goals. The Sales Executive is responsible for all aspects of sales, pipeline building, qualifying target opportunities, managing the sales cycle, closing orders and following through to revenue. The Sales Executive maintains Stericycle\'s policies, standards, and practices within and outside their assigned territory and ensures adherence to Stericycle\'s Vision, Mission and Values.

Key Job Activities
  1. Call blocks to healthcare facilities to schedule on-site appointments throughout the week to demonstrate capabilities in Compliance. Demonstrates ability to build and maintain a strong pipeline.
  2. Strong prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business and sell regulated medical waste, OSHA and HIPAA Compliance solutions by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of products and services and the value proposition for customers. Result oriented with a sense of urgency.
  3. Sells regulated medical waste, OSHA and HIPAA Compliance to previous Stericycle customers to win back lost business by demonstrating capabilities and addressing the customers\' business needs through strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  4. Builds and sustains strong, trusting relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging face-to-face interaction with a local subject matter expert and growing the business over time with additional services to meet customer needs. Motivated by success.
  5. Follows up on targeted marketing campaigns to grow business in geography by leveraging our services to meet customers\' needs.
  6. Participates in market development activities by identifying under-developed areas/markets within the territory and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and sales through new initiatives.
Education

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in initiating and managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationships
  • Strong and polished professional communication skills, negotiating abilities and excellent phone etiquette
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems and internet/social media
  • Results oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success
  • Able and prepared to travel within a defined, local territory on a daily basis; minimal long distance travel is required

Experience/Education

  • Minimum of 1 year prior sales experience is highly preferred
  • Experience selling in a business-to-business environment involving varying sales cycles and multiple levels of decision makers is highly preferred
  • Experience in a high volume / high transaction industry is highly preferred
  • Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) is strongly desired
  • Experience using Salesforce or other similar CRM and SAP is an advantage but not required
