Position Purpose:

Secure new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance service solutions. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability in the assigned geographic area by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance Services (OSHA/HIPAA), while meeting or exceeding established annual goals.

The Sales Executive will cover Salt Lake City and Utah as their territory. The Sales Executive must reside within the territory.

Key Job Activities:
  • Call on healthcare facilities to schedule on-site appointments throughout the week to demonstrate our capabilities in Compliance. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Utilize prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business, selling regulated medical waste, OSHA, and HIPAA Compliance solutions by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and the value proposition for customers. Be result-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Re-engage previous Stericycle customers to win back lost business by demonstrating capabilities and tailoring solutions to their needs, utilizing communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Build and sustain strong, trusting relationships with new and existing customers through face-to-face interactions with local subject matter experts, and grow the business by offering additional services to meet customer needs. Motivated by success.
  • Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns to grow business within the territory, leveraging our services to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in market development by identifying underdeveloped areas within the territory and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and sales through new initiatives.
Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience:
  • 2-3 years of field/outside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling in a business-to-business environment with varying sales cycles and decision levels preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume/high-transaction industries preferred.
  • Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) desired.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and SAP is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Strong prospecting, business development, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, internet, and social media.
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the local territory daily; minimal long-distance travel.
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
