Sales Executive

Are you an experienced consultative sales professional who loves selling in the higher education space?

Would you like the opportunity to take ownership for your sales strategy and success?

Overview

Role: Sales Executive. Fully remote and virtual. You will promote nursing curriculum materials and electronic products to nursing health professionals and higher education institutions, using solution-based selling to demonstrate the value of Elsevier's digital products including Hesi, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations and ebooks/books. Assigned accounts include established customers and new leads within the Washington/Oregon territory. Candidates must reside within the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Develop sales in the assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products.
  • Drive successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for customers in your territory.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to higher education and C-suite professionals. Provide in-depth product training, support, and guidance aligned to the curriculum.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations on Elsevier’s suite of products and how they enhance the classroom experience.
  • Track sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com.
Requirements
  • Experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing.
  • Proven track record of B2B sales success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated history of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (motor vehicle check required).
  • Live within the designated territory.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington: $61,400.00 - $102,300.00. This is a sales role which may be eligible for a sales incentive or commission plan.
