Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $153,171.00-212,200.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Create and implement effective sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for software products; Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques; Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth transition for prospects into customers; Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored software solutions to meet specific business requirements; Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to encourage repeat business and referrals; Present software products to potential clients, highlighting features and benefits that address their needs and challenges; Handle negotiations, address objections, and finalize sales agreements to achieve targets and close sales; Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and address client needs effectively; Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly; and Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Sales Executive – Machine Tool Shopfloor Software-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Selling software within manufacturing industry in the CNC machine tool space.
2. Working with contract negotiations.
3. Working with Sales Force to manage prospects, opportunities, funnel, and sales methodologies.
4. Handling dynamic sales cycles.
5. Working with general accounting practices to manage Cost to List negotiations, maintenance renewals, and general pricing topics with customers.
40% domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting is permitted. [Remote role]
