The Role: Sales Executive / Business Development (EMEA Automotive Sales)
The Team: EMEA New Business Development team focuses on maximizing profitable sales revenue through new business from new logos and existing accounts within EMEA.
The Impact: This role primarily aims to generate sales revenue growth within the DACH region.

Responsibilities:
- The Sales Executive in the EMEA Automotive Sales OES team will execute sales goals, including forecasting and revenue attainment. Responsibilities include qualifying new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, delivering value propositions, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, closing deals promptly, and understanding the S&P Global value proposition.
- The Senior Sales Executive will manage a specific set of accounts (mainly automotive suppliers) within the EMEA region, responsible for:
- Driving revenue growth, identifying revenue drivers, and focusing on market expansion and penetration.
- Building relationships with key decision-makers to create new sales opportunities.
- Monitoring performance and adjusting strategies to effectively penetrate the market.
- Managing sales pipeline in Salesforce, generating leads, and following up on inbound leads from various sources.
- Providing monthly forecasts with 95% accuracy to ensure visibility on revenue trends and actions.
- Understanding product sales cycles, competitive strategies, and leveraging this knowledge to refine sales strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of sales experience selling complex enterprise solutions to automotive industry clients, mainly suppliers.
- Proven success in negotiating and closing large, complex sales while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ability to uncover client needs and understand the buying process at private and multinational companies.
- Skilled in consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
- Experience in developing strategic revenue growth initiatives, leveraging partnerships and adapting products and services to competitive markets.
- Languages: German and English.
