Qualifications

• 4-year Civil/Structural engineering degree and PE license.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building industry.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including short-notice travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and oversee processes, procedures, and best practices that generate competitive design solutions for estimates.
• Proactively engage with District Sales Managers, Builders, Estimating, and Design teams to identify project opportunities and support projects through estimating.
• Support sales and profitability objectives by providing technical guidance and design solutions that give a competitive advantage.
• Collaborate across departments to develop safe, efficient, and economical project solutions considering pricing, erection, constructability, and total installed cost.
• Evaluate nonstandard project requirements and recommend balanced solutions considering risk, application, constructability, and cost.
• Partner with Estimating Supervisor and Sales Leadership to develop selling strategies for complex projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with Builders through travel and communication as a trusted resource.
• Assist DSM builder recruiting by developing relationships with potential recruits.
