Your Impact
Company Overview:

Dedrone, by Axon, is the world's most trusted smart airspace security company. Hundreds of commercial, government, and military customers worldwide rely on Dedrone's comprehensive, command and control (C2) solution to protect against drone threats while enabling 'good' drones to fly. Using AI/ML, Dedrone offers continuous, autonomous drone interrogation and verification, supporting multi-sensor and multi-mitigation options on a single fused interface. Whether on-premise or in the cloud, Dedrone's solutions allow customers to detect, track, identify, analyze, and mitigate drone threats effectively.

Location: Remote - United States, with travel up to 50% of the time

Reports to: Sr Manager, Sales Engineering - Dedrone

What You'll Do:
  1. Achieve mastery of all Dedrone technology.
  2. Use exceptional communication skills to lead business and technical presentations.
  3. Engage in technical conversations with IT departments, channel partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Set and manage expectations with customers and team members.
  5. Provide first-level technical support during the pre-sales cycle.
  6. Stay organized and adapt creatively to remove sales obstacles.
  7. Develop relationships with key partners for growth.
  8. Respond professionally to RFPs/RFIs.
  9. Position our technology against competitors.
  10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  11. Manage POC/Pilot processes, including logistics, requirements assessment, and configuration support.
  12. Improve or develop technical documentation.
  13. Gather feature requests and feedback for product improvement.
  14. Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for professional services.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Understanding of Networking, Linux, and physical security technologies.
  • Knowledge or experience with drone technology is desirable.
  • Educational background: Associate's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or 5+ years relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Curiosity, humility, accountability, and a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking, and exploitation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong presentation skills and technical acumen.
  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOW).
