Job description

About Aidoc

Aidoc is the market leader in healthcare AI and has developed the world’s largest clinical frontier model, supporting nearly 50 million patients each year.
Aidoc is deployed in more than 2,000 medical centers worldwide. Since our founding in 2016, Aidoc has raised over $500 million and achieved a record number of FDA-cleared solutions.

Medical diagnosis is hitting a breaking point, where the number of physicians hasn’t kept up with the rapidly growing patient load. This leads to misdiagnosis and treatment delays that result in hundreds of thousands of deaths every year. Aidoc assists clinicians by precisely highlighting diseases directly on medical images, preventing misdiagnosis and ensuring that urgent patients receive the immediate attention they need.

About this role

The Sales Engineer role is a critical part of the Aidoc sales activity for both net-new and existing healthcare systems. The Sales Engineer is the Subject Matter Expert for all architecture design, enterprise integration, and data flow discussions and acts as a trusted product expert to design a solution that aligns with the hospital’s overall IT and AI strategy.

As an Aidoc Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all components of the pre-sales activity and explaining the value of the Aidoc solution to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in the hospital system. Specific activities include leading both high-level and deep-dive architecture and workflow presentations, demonstrating the functionality and value of the Aidoc product portfolio, responding to Vendor Security questionnaires, creation of Solution Design and Implementation plans, and managing the handoff to the Implementation team.

  • Technical & Architecture Ownership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for enterprise architecture design, data flow discussions, and healthcare integrations (aligning solutions with the hospital’s IT/AI strategy).
  • Pre-Sales & Stakeholder Management: Manage all components of pre-sales activity, explaining the value of the Aidoc solution to both technical and non-technical hospital stakeholders.
  • Presentations & Demos: Lead high-level and deep-dive architecture and workflow presentations, as well as product portfolio demonstrations.
  • Security & Compliance: Complete and respond to Vendor Security questionnaires, adhering to healthcare security standards and regulations.
  • Solution Design & Handoff: Create Solution Design and Implementation plans, ensuring a seamless handoff to the Implementation team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years working in the Healthcare IT domain
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare industry standards and integration methodologies (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, API, XML, etc)
  • In-depth understanding of server and network infrastructure including on-prem, cloud, and hybrid configurations as well as disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, security requirements, and certifications both domestically and internationally

  • In depth understanding of the Hospital Imaging end-to-end workflow (Order creation to Result distribution)
  • Experience with healthcare AI development and integration into existing healthcare imaging workflow
  • Experience responding to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and other Tender requests
  • Solid understanding of the unique requirements of VA and DoD environments
