Overview

Responsibilities
  • Independently represent the employer in Northern Alabama to establish and develop distributor partnerships and customer relationships
  • Target, prospect, and secure new customer accounts for territory growth
  • Manage and retain current customer accounts through application recommendations and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate with engineering and internal departments to generate accurate quotations and resolve customer issues
  • Conduct training for machine operators and management on product functionality and applications
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree (BSME) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a large manufacturing facility
  • 5-10 years of successful regional or territory sales experience in a consultative-based sales role
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience with cutting tool design and applications
  • Proficient in technology and software, including CRM and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant sales experience in the metal cutting industry or machining applications
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as CPK, PPK, and PPAP
  • Strong mathematical skills, including experience with statistical inference and calculus

Travel: 50% to 60% travel required.
