Job summary

EōS Fitness in Pasadena, Texas is seeking a highly motivated Fitness Manager to lead a sales-driven Personal Training team on the club floor, set appointments, and build member relationships while selling training packages and coaching trainers to do the same.

This role focuses on achieving month-over-month sales targets, onboarding new members, hiring and developing staff, and delivering exceptional fitness experiences while upholding core values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience in a fitness/personal training context failed?
• 3-4 years of customer service experience.
• Personal Training sales experience is highly preferred.
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors.
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels.
• Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough problem solving; good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets month-over-month, drive membership growth, and ensure the team meets or exceeds goals for new training agreements, client retention, and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with the membership sales team to support onboarding, drive sales initiatives, and ensure a smooth club experience.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers.
• Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and trainers to ensure timely, accurate pay.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff clearly.
• Ensure all fitness staff have appropriate certifications and training such as CPR, First Aid, and PT certifications.
• Provide constructive feedback to staff on performance with clear, specific language.
• Address member concerns or inquiries, maintain high-quality customer service, and resolve issues promptly.
• Engage with members in a friendly, approachable manner and listen to their needs to provide helpful responses.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper certifications.
• Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of facility areas including equipment and locker rooms.
• Communicate calmly during emergencies to keep staff and members safe.
