Potomac Family Dining Group is seeking a customer service oriented team member to deliver superior bar service at Applebee’s by upholding timeliness, accuracy and guest satisfaction.

You will greet guests, mix drinks, take and relay orders via POS, ensure responsible alcohol service, keep the bar clean, and contribute to a legendary guest experience through suggestive selling. The role involves a fast-paced environment with community engagement.

Qualifications

• Friendly and engaging demeanor.
• 21+ years old.
• Prior bar service experience.
• ServeSafe Alcohol Certification preferred.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal skills required.
• Bi-lingual experience a plus.
• Reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Team player.
• Follow manager instructions and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards.
• Greet guests and offer menu guidance.
• Relay orders to kitchen via POS.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization.
• Drive sales with suggestive selling.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Occasional Carside To-Go service.
