Job description

The Sales Director, Web is a dynamic closer and lead generator who drives new business by crafting tailored, customer-focused proposals for prospective clients. With 8+ years of experience, they excel at conducting website crawls and developing strategies that accomplish client business goals. This role is focused on selling 829 Studios' brand & website development services—primarily WordPress and Drupal—alongside complementary marketing solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Close new business - Close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas for both Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and project-based revenue.
  • Business Development – Generate and qualify leads aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), schedule meetings, and proactively pursue new clients through strategic outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, cold emailing, and cold calling.
  • Lead intake calls - Present 829 Studios' brand & website development services with a consultative, solution-driven approach, demonstrating 829 Studios’ expertise in performance marketing, brand marketing, and website development projects.
  • Develop Proposals - Run website crawls and present a strategic proposal using well defined templates in PandaDoc. Consult with internal SMEs on the strategic approach, aligning the proposal to match a client’s proposed timeline and budget.
  • Reporting - Track and manage leads in HubSpot, ensuring records are up to date, and provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and progress toward targets.
  • Team Collaboration - Actively participate in weekly internal sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed with sales team progress to goal, share insights, and continuously improve consultative selling approaches. Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs to minimize sales to project team handoff, ensuring all client calls and the information gathered is well documented for the project team to leverage.
  • Networking - Attend industry events and conferences as needed, representing 829 Studios with professionalism, integrity, and a focus on building relationships and expanding the brand’s presence through consultative selling.
What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience at a digital agency who has a strong understanding of the website build process and is adept at running website crawls & developing proposals
  • Can confidently speak to brand marketing, website development, performance marketing & website ongoing support services
  • Has outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Has experience maintaining strong relationships with prospective customers while working independently and as part of the larger sales team
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, HubSpot Sales Hub, BuiltWith, Google Lighthouse, and Apollo preferred
