The Sales Director (SD) for the Rare Disease & Cardiometabolic Commercial Business Unit (CBU) will report to the Strategic Customer Engagement Head and play a pivotal role in leading, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams dedicated to two key CBU products, garetosmab (indicated for fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva) and DB-OTO (indicated for otoferlin-related hearing loss). This individual will drive exceptional sales performance, exceeding forecasts and product goals, while fostering accountability and delivering results nationwide.
The SD will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, Market Access, Patient Support Services, Commercial Training, Insights & Analytics, and Commercial Operations, ensuring alignment and execution of strategies critical to the success of the Rare Disease & Cardiometabolic CBU. All responsibilities will be carried out with integrity and compliance, adhering strictly to Regeneron’s policies and U.S. pharmaceutical regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership and success in managing sales teams within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, particularly in rare disease / ultra rare disease markets. Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
