What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop a 5-year Strategic Growth Plan for the Pet & Animal Wellbeing (PAW) business in North America, focusing on market needs and consumer trends
- Create and implement the regional commercial strategy, including short- and medium-term plans to grow the customer pipeline
- Drive revenue and gross margin targets in alignment with the Strategic Growth Plan
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in customer organizations and coordinate with ADM’s teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions
- Oversee sales process management in accordance with company targets using Salesforce
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Nutrition/Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or Business Administration; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of business-to-business (B2B) technical sales experience in Pet Health/Nutrition
- Proven success in strategic account management, contract negotiations, and revenue generation
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce and Power BI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in microbiome ingredient sales and R&D
- Leadership experience in market development and commercialization of new probiotic-based Pet Nutrition products
- Strong ability to collaborate across a matrix organization, preferably on a global scale
- Demonstrated success in driving key performance metrics such as Revenue, Gross Margin, and Operational Profit
