About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to grow sales, focused on all non-laser powder bed fusion accounts. This role will drive revenue growth by identifying and executing new business opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting, and collaborating closely with marketing and Sales leadership.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact, and work with a collaborative, driven, and forward-thinking Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Identify and build strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring satisfaction and long-term account success.
- Sales Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts in CRM, ensuring clear visibility into pipeline health and revenue projections.
- Sales Execution and Revenue Growth: Proactively identify new business opportunities to meet and exceed annual sales targets. Execute sales activities related to non-laser powder bed customers across the US East Region, by promoting Continuum’s products and technology, and through creative deal structuring and negotiation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and lead generation strategies.
- Opportunity Creation: Drive the discovery and development of new market segments, applications, and customer opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the GM, Sales on performance, trends, and risks.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to adapt strategy accordingly.
Required and Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, preferably in advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, or industrial technology sectors
- Proven track record of sales success, especially in complex, technical product environments.
- Experience selling into engineering, aerospace, automotive, or industrial markets.
- Technical background or familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies (excluding laser powder bed fusion).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team across multiple geographies.
- Deep understanding of sales forecasting and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Travel: Regular domestic travel will be required, to customer sites, events and trade shows, and company sites. International travel as required.
