Position Title: Sales Leader - U.S. Major Accounts
Location: United States (Remote with Travel)

The Opportunity:
We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to drive growth across our U.S. Major Accounts segment. In this high-impact role, you'll lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, develop strategic sales initiatives, and build lasting relationships with key clients in the service provider space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the U.S. Major Accounts sales team.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives and revenue goals.

  • Own sales forecasting and pipeline management for the segment.

  • Lead go-to-market efforts, positioning Ribbon's full suite of solutions-including IP, optical, voice, cloud-native, and security offerings.

  • Build strong customer relationships by articulating Ribbon's value proposition and competitive advantages.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering to deliver tailored technical and commercial responses.

  • Represent Ribbon at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

  • Contribute to marketing strategies based on market intelligence and customer feedback.

  • Oversee team staffing, training, performance reviews, and career development.

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs.

  • Travel approximately 50% within the U.S.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 8+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in sales leadership roles.

  • Deep understanding of IP, packet, optical networking technologies, and services.

  • Familiarity with voice, session border controllers (SBC), and security solutions is a plus.

  • Demonstrated success selling to U.S. major service providers (e.g., Tier 1s, ISPs, ASPs).

  • Proven ability to manage both account growth and new business development.

  • Established executive-level relationships in key accounts.

  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Clari, and Microsoft Office Suite.
