About the Role

Title: Sales Director / Business Development – Video/OTT, Telecom, Tech (Broadcast media and Video / Telecom experience is a MUST, LA or NYC location required).

Our Client: We have been retained by a fast-growing firm specializing in advanced technology and software in the video and telecom sectors, serving Hollywood Studios, Networks, and telecom providers. We seek a Director-Level Sales Executive to sell technology/software services to major studios, networks, broadcasters, and cable/telecom providers. The focus is on growing and expanding the business.

Requirements
  • Senior sales experience with broadcasters, programmers (HBO, ABC, NBC, CBS, Showtime, Paramount, Fox), video service providers (Roku, Amazon, Google, cable, telcos), telecoms, and technology providers. Candidates must have strong industry contacts.
  • Proven track record in business growth, customer acquisition, and closing sales.
  • Experience selling technology and software development services.
  • Strong business development skills, including farming and hunting for new accounts.
  • Experience engaging with senior executives.
  • Extensive industry contacts in TV studios, broadcasters, networks, content providers, telecom, and tech sectors.
  • Good understanding of video and telecom technology processes.
  • Leadership skills are a plus but this is primarily an individual sales role.
Location & Compensation

Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York City, NY (remote role but requires access to clients)

Compensation: DOE, typically between $150,000 and $250,000 USD/year plus commission and full benefits.
