Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Sales Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will showcase our product and services through impactful presentations and demos, build strong client partnerships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Your efforts will play a critical role in executing our growth strategy and achieving our sales targets

Responsibilities
  • Own a $1 million Sales Target/Year
  • Manage a complex sales cycle while orchestrating cross-functional internal teams
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
  • Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals
  • Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests
  • Prospect new and current accounts to build a robust pipeline, ensuring successful achievement of revenue targets
  • Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and value drivers to identify potential opportunities, and provide feedback and prioritization on enhancements to current and new potential solutions
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales / Business Development in the US Market; preferably in a Media Analytics (Social Media Insights & Research, Media Monitoring & Measurement Services, Digital Experience) / Product/ Consulting / Market Research environment
  • Ready to travel frequently within the US
  • Documented history of achieving sales quotas
  • Functional expertise in media monitoring, social media Insights, measurement and research services
  • A self-reliant, resourceful BD person with a consultative selling approach
  • Experience with pitching and close deals at the C-suite level (VP/CMO/CCO)
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Highly developed leadership, Sales Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting skills
  • Demonstration of a consistent over-achievement of client acquisition and sales revenue targets
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelors in Marketing/ Business, MBA preferred
