Job description

About Konare Law

Konare Law is not a traditional immigration firm. We are a removal defense law firm that represents noncitizens in some of the most complex and high‑pressure immigration removal defense proceedings in the country. Our removal defense attorneys don’t just prepare motions—they change lives, shape precedent, and build trusted relationships with clients and communities. As we scale our immigration removal defense practice in 2026, we are seeking a driven, strategic, and client‑focused associate who sees this role as the beginning of a long‑term leadership journey with us.

Role Summary

The Sales Director is the firm’s chief revenue officer in practice. This role owns the retention number - the weekly, quarterly, and annual revenue generated through new client retainers and renewal agreements. The Sales Director is accountable not just for executing retention conversations, but for building and managing the system, the team, and the external pipeline that sustains and grows Konare Law’s revenue year over year.
The Sales Director also owns business development. External referral pipeline, community partnerships, and lead‑generation channels are this seat’s accountability, executed with the support of a Business Development Coordinator. BD is not a separate or competing function - it reports into this role.
This is not a support role. It is not a coordination role. The Sales Director leads from the front, is personally accountable for outcomes, and operates with the authority - and responsibility - of a firm leader.
The expectations in this document apply to every person who occupies this seat, regardless of who that person is.

Core Responsibilities

Weekly Revenue Ownership

  • Own weekly retention revenue performance across all office locations.
  • Monitor results, identify performance gaps, and take immediate corrective action.
  • Hold retention and office teams accountable to weekly goals and revenue targets.
  • Provide weekly performance reports to firm leadership.

Retention Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Retention Team.
  • Conduct weekly performance meetings and case reviews.
  • Improve consultation conversion rates and client communication.
  • Partner with HR on performance management and training initiatives.

Speed-to-Contact & Client Experience

  • Ensure timely lead follow‑up and client communication.
  • Maintain response‑time standards for consultations and callbacks.
  • Resolve client service issues quickly and improve overall client experience.

Business Development & Pipeline Growth

  • Develop referral partnerships with attorneys, community organizations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Oversee outreach activities, networking efforts, and referral pipeline growth.
  • Represent the firm at events and community engagements.

Consultation Volume & Conversion

  • Drive consultation volume and conversion performance across all offices.
  • Analyze trends, identify opportunities, and implement growth strategies.
  • Monitor consultant and office‑level results and address underperformance.

EAD Renewal Revenue

  • Lead initiatives to increase EAD renewal retention and recurring revenue.
  • Coordinate with legal and operational teams to ensure timely client outreach.
  • Track performance and execute strategies to achieve revenue goals.

Reporting & Data Integrity

  • Maintain accurate sales and retention reporting.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance within firm systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field (degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client intake/retention, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience managing sales or client success teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, conversion, or retention goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate lead sources, conversion trends, and financial performance.
