Job summary

ABB seeks a student intern to support Sales Systems processes in the United States. You will collaborate with multiple teams to coordinate and complete projects on time, using customer insights to propose suitable ABB solutions and drive tangible results.

You will participate in team meetings, solicit feedback from peers and managers, and assist in improving system performance and documentation related to sales programs.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field in the United States.

This position reports to:

Sales Systems Manager

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
• Leveraging insights about customer needs and ABB’s offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.
• Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
• Support all SD processes that are required by the Business
• Maintain integrity of processes and documentation as required for effective support and internal audit compliance.
• Learn all aspects of the internal audit process and its procedures, including roles and internal control responsibilities
• Work to resolve system issues and enhance performance related to sales programs and transactions. Evaluate, establish, and enhance varying sales transactional processes to ensure efficiency and risk minimization.

Qualifications for the role:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
