Ford Pro Intelligence provides telematics and fleet management services to our commercial and fleet customers. Ford Pro products and services serve as a foundational building block to Ford’s continued leadership and innovation in fleet/commercial vehicle market segments. Ford Pro Intelligence works with customers of all sizes, and we drive new business through various channels. In this position...

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join Ford Pro Sales Development team. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to learn about our solutions, engage with our team, and drive new business. The successful candidate will be quick to jump in where help is needed, bringing both enthusiasm and accountability to their work. Direct customer engagement is a necessity and there will be a lot of interaction with our internal team to assist in the development and growth of prospective customer accounts.

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Occasional travel required to attend trade shows, team on-sites, etc.
  • Ability to proactively manage, maintain, nurture and convert Outbound and Inbound leads from multiple sources covering multiple products
  • Accountability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication and relationship building skills

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent work experience
  • Strong skills in sales, marketing, messaging, and administration
  • Experience using Excel and Salesforce for prospecting and pipeline management purposes
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role
  • Proactive nature with the ability to listen and ask questions
  • Accountability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Passion for customer service and process improvement
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

Drive New Business Acquisition:
  • Daily prospecting, outreach, and account research
  • Generate new customer interest in Ford Pro Intelligence's Solutions and get prospects into formal sales meetings with our Solution Sales Consultants.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, product and others to generate effective messaging
  • Partner with Solution Sales Consultants throughout the country to identify ideal customers to engage with
Learning Management:
  • Participate and engage in Ford Pro learning management system and become immersed in our vehicle, software and hardware product portfolio.
  • Perform market research to stay up to date on industry trends and competitor products
  • Become a subject matter expert on the value points and key differentiators of Ford Pro’s portfolio of products
