Sales Development Representative (Sawyer)

Sawyer, A DaySmart Company, founded in 2015, simplifies discovering and registration for children’s activities. Our two-sided model offers registration software for activity providers and a marketplace connecting parents. Recently acquired by DaySmart Software, this milestone will help achieve our mission faster. Join our innovative, mission-driven team during an exciting growth phase!

We are excited to be hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this role, you will master essential sales skills—qualifying prospects, pioneering our SDR program, and helping shape processes. We take pride in equipping talent with training, coaching, and autonomy to drive results.

This is a remote-based role with collaboration hours of 9am-5pm EST, Monday-Friday.

The position entails cold calling and scheduling demos to generate pipeline. You are compensated per qualified demo held, with further upside when opportunities close. Successful SDRs will gain proficiency at lead generation as a foundation for evolving into account executives and sales leaders here.

There are opportunities for career advancement. Successful team members can become eligible for promotion into roles with increased compensation, commission potential, and responsibilities.

Salary
  • Annual base salary is $45k, OTE is $25k
Responsibilities
  • Identify and create well-qualified SMB leads daily
  • Arrange discovery calls and well-qualified product demonstrations for Account Executives
  • Prospect new business through outbound calling and email/social outreach
  • Consistently achieve outbound prospecting goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Work closely with Account Executives to onboard the best potential partners and support the top of the sales funnel
  • Identify advantages and key differentiators compared to competitors within various markets
  • Maintain detailed tracking of sales activity within Salesforce
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics
  • Create organized plans to ensure customer success post-onboarding
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving company where the product is still evolving

  • Passion for early childhood education and helping SMB educators streamline and grow their business
