WeWork in New York City is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our inbound team and help drive tours and lease conversions. This full‑time role reports to a National Inbound Manager and supports the Leasing Team with a hands‑on, results‑driven approach.

You will nurture leads, manage qualification, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet ambitious occupancy goals while delivering exceptional customer service and a strong brand experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–2 years of sales experience in startups and/or entrepreneurial environments.
  • Track record of sales in cold calling and emailing is helpful.
  • Experience using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is highly desirable.

About the Opportunity

WeWork is currently seeking a Sales Development Representative. This full‑time position is based in NewYorkCity and will report directly to a National Inbound Manager. This individual will be responsible for working with a successful Inbound team while helping to execute and achieve team sales goals. Our team is the front lines of the sales process, which is why we need individuals who understand and are passionate about the WeWork experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of Sales Development Representatives
  • Nurture, develop, and handoff leads that ultimately result in booked tours/meetings set with our Leasing Team
  • Carry out processes implemented by the National Inbound Manager
  • Provide regular updates to your team about objectives and processes
  • Develop and handoff leads through sales processes
  • Work with the SMB Strategy Team to achieve team goals
  • Work with automation platforms to efficiently input and track data
  • Own the sales process: inbound lead qualification, prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification
  • You are a jack of all trades: you will do anything needed to support the Inbound team in order to achieve team goals
  • Work towards/maintain 100% building occupancy through achieving booked tour goals/meetings set
  • Communicate the WeWork brand and lifestyle to ensure the highest conversion rate of booked tours/meetings set
  • Provide unmatched customer service to potential prospects to ensure an excellent start to their member experience
About You
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1‑2 years of sales experience in startups and/or entrepreneurial environments
  • Track record of sales in cold calling and emailing are helpful
  • Comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM– Salesforce experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in prospecting, developing, and handoff sales
  • Experience in customer service and relationship building are highly desirable
  • Experience working on a team and leading a team player mentality
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit – WeWork is a key player in the future of workspace, meaning each employee will be given significant responsibility and autonomy.   • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and multi‑tasking skills
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay and Incentive Compensation: $50,000 annual salary, plus variable incentive pay with on target earnings of $83,500. WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role, which sets forth the terms of the variable incentive pay and target earnings described above. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.
