About the Role

As part of our Business Development team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers within our Brand Partnerships team. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a successful sales track record.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers, managing all aspects of the sales cycle.
  2. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social selling activities daily in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Create sales collateral and case studies to demonstrate the benefits of Instacart's platform.
  4. Meet and exceed KPIs.
  5. Use SFDC and sales engagement tools to prioritize leads and engage brands.
  6. Accurately map contacts within your book of business and track contact movements.
  7. Engage active advertisers to drive increased investments, leveraging industry knowledge.
  8. Identify opportunities to standardize materials and processes for scale.
  9. Deliver excellent customer experience through strong project management and execution.
  10. Collaborate with product teams to enhance ad products for SMBs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in sales or business development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of advertising industry and CPG advertising.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools.
