Zscaler is seeking a Sales Development Representative for a hybrid role. You will contribute to the sales pipeline by qualifying leads and scheduling appointments with key decision makers in Global 2000 companies.

This position reports to the Manager of Sales Development within the Sales Development department and requires 2 days in the Plano, TX / Raleigh, NC / Boston, MA offices. Ideal candidates have AI tool familiarity, a customer-oriented background, and experience in account development,

Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team. This is a Hybrid role, reporting to the Manager of Sales Development in the Sales Development department. You will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to Zscaler’s sales pipeline and revenue growth through lead qualification.

This is a hybrid onsite role that requires 2 days a week in the office (Plano, TX/Raleigh, NC/or Boston, MA).

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Researching and prospecting into organizations by emailing, calling, networking and other creative means to lead early stage pipelines
• Qualifying and scheduling well qualified appointments with main decision makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies through inbound and outbound leads
• Utilizing the CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Customer-oriented background (sales, support, or customer service)
• Skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, or time and territory management
• Experience in the Federal sector

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with CRM systems (preferably salesforce.com)
• Experience in an outbound-focused sales position
• Demonstrate a proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$44,625-$63,750 USD
