Elenco is seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our Education Division. This full-time, remote role focuses on growing our presence in Education across Distributors, Resellers, Non-Profit Foundations, and direct K-12 sales. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this position is remote-based with occasional travel.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory while adhering to budget guidelines
  • Strengthen partnerships and expand our distributor, reseller, and non-profit foundation business
  • Drive new business development by acquiring new K-12 school and district accounts
  • Execute outbound sales efforts, including prospecting and lead follow-up
  • Serve as a trusted STEM advisor to schools and educators, positioning Elenco’s product offerings to meet educational needs including training
  • Build strong relationships with school and district-level decision-makers through a consultative sales approach
  • Partner with the Elenco Marketing team to provide strategic input on innovation, digital initiatives, and training opportunities
  • Represent Elenco at trade shows, educator conferences, and training events (as needed)
  • Maintain accurate CRM records using NetSuite, including account details, activities, and opportunities
  • Complete administrative tasks such as quotes, account setup, and pricing communications for education accounts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling or teaching STEM products across various Education sectors
  • Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Familiarity with educational standards and curriculum frameworks is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with school personnel and key stakeholders
  • Self-starter, goal-oriented, and driven to exceed targets
  • Confident and professional communicator with school administrators and education leaders
  • Excellent time management, organization, and project coordination skills
  • Highly collaborative team player with a proactive mindset

  • Proficient with NetSuite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
