Job summary

Dow Jones & Company, Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Representative to identify, contact, and qualify new leads for the Americas Strategic sales team.

You will set up introductory meetings with members of the team and work with Directors, AE's and Specialists to drive campaigns and revenue growth. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive, results-driven mindset, with the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and learn compliance workflows.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience required.
  • Comfort and confidence with cold calling.

  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.

  • Ability to utilize effective influencing strategies to gain agreement or commitment to proposed solutions in order to help advance the sales process to the next level.
  • Ability to drive new business opportunities within new prospects, as well as ability to upsell to existing Dow Jones customers within a team selling environment.
  • Ability to identify key customer issues to determine whether it is appropriate to set-up a meeting with a specialist.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness when working closely with people of diverse cultures or background.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple activities and re-prioritize when necessary to ensure revenue goals are achieved.
  • Degree level education preferred.

Our Professional Information Business is seeking an exceptional individual to source & drive new business opportunities for the Americas Strategic sales team.
