Job description
Overview

Rally is on a mission to transform how product, design, and research teams connect with their users to build incredible products that solve real problems.

In a short 24 months, we've built the market's first User Research CRM and brought on customers like Adobe, US Bank, MongoDB, Webflow, Gitlab, Gong, Braze, and more. We are backed by best-in-class investors like Stage 2 Capital, Canapi Ventures and YCombinator, and fueled by an incredible team of user-centered employees that have a bias for impact, solve hard problems…and also have a ton of fun.

Why this role
  • Sell a platform that Product, Design, and Research teams need and love: Large research teams and their stakeholders rely on Rally to connect with their users and uncover critical customer insights. Customers have referred to Rally as the “light at the end of the tunnel”.
  • Be an early member of the Sales team: As one of the first members of team, you’ll build the foundation of Sales for years to come.
  • Join an incredible team at an exciting time: We’re at the beginning stages of massive growth. Join a passionate, scrappy, and no-ego team of builders that are inspired by each other and our customers every single day.
What you’ll do
  • Build meaningful relationships with Research & Research Ops leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies
  • Develop warm outbound strategies to identify and create opportunities across our target accounts
  • Work closely with Account Executives to support the sales process and ensure a smooth handoff
  • Research and understand the needs and pain points of our target accounts
  • Become a Rally and Research Ops expert - and leverage that knowledge to help and advise prospects
  • Improve our sales process and playbooks
  • Be the voice of the prospect: Collaborate with Product to inform roadmap decisions, Marketing to inform positioning and messaging, and help Customer Success to create a smooth handoff and consistent customer journey
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a Sales Development role at a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven capability to generate qualified meetings and opportunities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and attention to detail in all forms (docs, emails, Slack messages, Powerpoint presentations) and at all levels (from IC to Exec)
  • Excitement to build the foundations of Sales at an early stage and rapidly growing startup
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience using CRM systems, sales engagement tools and AI
    • Experience working in or selling to Research, Design & Product teams, and executives in that space (Heads/VPs of Research, Design & Product)
    • Passion for Rally and the user research space
Personal Attributes
  • Innate curiosity, strong work ethic, a bias towards impact, and a builder mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a track record of managing multiple priorities.
  • Creativity and commercial acumen to innovate on the sales process
