AT&T is launching a new-hire B2B Sales Development Program in Dallas, designed to prepare you for a full-time Mid-Market territory sales role. You’ll spend two months in immersive training at the Dallas HQ, then transition to an in-market role focusing on acquiring new customers, identifying business needs, and creating opportunities for AT&T solutions.

The program features a housing stipend during training, relocation bonuses where applicable, and a graduation bonus.

Responsibilities

As part of AT&T’s B2B Sales Development Program, you’ll participate in a new‑hire development program designed to prepare you for a full‑time Mid‑Market territory sales role. You’ll begin with two months of immersive training and onboarding at our Dallas Headquarters focused on sales fundamentals, product knowledge, business acumen, and real customer engagement. You’ll then continue your development in the city/market you applied for before officially starting your full‑time sales role there. In that market, you’ll take on an acquisition‑focused position connecting with new customers, uncovering business needs, and creating opportunities for AT&T solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Start your journey at the iconic AT&T Discovery District in Dallas, TX, where you’ll gain deep insight into cutting‑edge sales strategies and innovative solutions during Months 1 and 2.
• In Month 3, you will transition to the AT&T Territory Sales Team in one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Nashville, TN; New York City, NY; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; St. Louis, MO; or Washington, DC.
• Focus on acquiring new customers by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospects through cold calls, emails, digital outreach, and in‑person customer visits.
• Own the full sales process for new business opportunities, from cold outreach and prospecting to customer conversations, proposals, and closing the deal.
• Ramp up through a new‑hire program focused on AT&T product and systems knowledge, hands‑on coaching, customer engagement, and real‑time practice while building the activity habits and sales discipline needed to meet activity and sales performance metrics during the program and in your full‑time acquisition sales role.

What you’ll need:

Program Highlights:

• Housing Stipend: Receive a $4,000 stipend during the 4‑month program to support you while you focus on learning and growth.
• Relocation Bonuses: Potential relocation bonuses may be available in certain circumstances to assist with your move.
• Graduation Bonus: Celebrate your achievement with a $2,000 bonus upon successful program completion.
• Placement & Career Opportunities: Upon program completion, you’ll be placed in an outside sales role within AT&T Business, aligned with your geographic preference whenever possible. Final placement depends on market availability.
• Compensation: In Program Months 1: Earn an annualized base salary of $57,000 during foundational training. In Program Months 2 ~ 4: Transition to a sales quota and commission structure with a base salary of $48,300 plus the opportunity to earn up to $17,000 annually in commissions, bringing total compensation for these months to $65,300. Our B2B Sales Development Program participants receive competitive compensation while gaining hands‑on experience and preparing for long‑term earning potential in a full‑time sales role. Participants receive additional program support, including a housing stipend during training and other compensation‑related perks designed to support their experience throughout the program. The program also offers dedicated hands‑on development, executive exposure at Dallas HQ, a clear four‑month progression path from Dallas‑based training to in‑market development, access to an expansive employee network of 100,000+ AT&T employees, and opportunities to connect through AT&T employee groups and AT&T Believes. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting pay may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Post Program – You will transition to the city in your offer letter, joining our expanding AT&T Territory Sales team and unlocking exceptional earning potential. Our compensation package features a competitive base salary plus a performance‑based commission structure. At 100% of your sales target, annual earnings typically range from $93,300 to $117,500. Commission earnings are capped at 500% of target, allowing for an annual earning potential of $225,000 or more for high achievers.
