Job Summary:
The VP of Sales - West (VPW) is a competitive and disciplined hunter who is highly driven to succeed and possess high energy levels and natural sales instincts. The VPW is responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction. BlueBin VPW sets annual sales goals for the company and works toward achieving them with the assistance of the VPs of Sales and CMO.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Day-to-day outside sales and prospecting, account management, relationship building, troubleshooting external customer issues by collaborating with internal customers and team members.
- New business prospecting, qualifying, data collection and analysis, relationship building, negotiating, and closing.
- Set up meetings with potential clients, listen to their wishes and concerns, and prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Salesforce: Document activity, customer notes/status updates, maintenance of current and potential customer profiles and utilize to complete/adhere to company processes
- Analysis of sales reports and customer trends to proactively identify and capture opportunities.
Client Management:
- Continuously strives to delight clients and exceed expectations.
- Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Leadership:
- Participating and deployment of training and education key learnings
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change that support BlueBin’s methodology
- Works with operations, finance, customer care, GPO, sales effectiveness, contracts, and legal among other internal teams.
- Self-motivated with a result-driven approach
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of healthcare supply chain sales experience
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Communications, Supply Chain or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Clinical or medical administrative credentials and/or supply chain experience a plus
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
- Strong network of industry contacts
- Superior communication skills with the ability to express complex messages and sell services through written and verbal communications to a variety of hospital stakeholders
- Demonstrates an understanding lean, supply chain, healthcare helpful
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to build and coordinate a team of professionals to accomplish a common goal/objective to deliver customer value
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to prioritize and execute tasks
- Strategic and creative mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work for self and install team
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (specifically HubSpot) is a plus
- Advanced expertise in MS Office Applications and ability to rapidly develop customer facing presentations in MS PowerPoint

- Remote employee
- Travel up to 50% to hospitals, professional organization meetings and conferences, other BlueBin sites and/or partner locations.
