Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a Sales Development Engineer to join the Eastern Region sales team as a phone-based outreach resource for outbound prospecting and early-stage qualification. The role focuses on converting cold and warm contacts into active sales opportunities for Account Managers, leveraging a strong technical understanding of RF, digital, and power test solutions.

Applicants should reside in the Eastern half of the U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years SDR/inside technical sales with outbound focus.
• Proven cold calling and prospecting abilities.
• CRM proficient; familiarity with ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Aufgaben

• Make outbound calls to prospects and existing customers within assigned territories.
• Execute high-volume outbound call campaigns into target accounts.
• Identify contacts, projects, and buying signals to discover qualified sales opportunities.
• Qualify inbound leads and marketing responses and hand off to the Account Manager.
• Support targeted campaigns tied to product launches, promotions, and service renewals.
• Re-engage dormant accounts and cold contacts and find new contacts, projects, and budgets.
• Align with Account Managers on target accounts and priorities; perform account research.
• Actively use CRM to enter notes, status, and next steps for the AM.
